Malayalis who have built various universities (Sanskrit etc) is least concerned about the need of building a university for our mother tongue Malayalam. Once Malayalam language at its glory, which had been made incredibly beautiful by the contributions of poetic legends like KUMARANASAN, VALLATHOL and ULLOOR have lost its authenticity. Time is not too far, where Malayalis are more interested in foreign Languages will end up having their mother tongue extinct .Its time for us to unite to save our mother tongue.
This is an appeal which will be presented before the authorities. If you agree with the need for having the Malayalam University please VOTE in this blog.

ReplyDeleteസ്വന്തം മാതാപിതാക്കളെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന സംസ്ക്കാരമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് മാതൃഭാഷയെ ഒരിക്കലും രണ്ടാം ഭാഷയാക്കി അയിത്തം കല്‍പ്പിക്കാനാകില്ല.കാരണം സ്വന്തം അച്ഛനെ അറിയാനും സ്നേഹിക്കാനും സ്നേഹസ്വരൂപിണിയായ മാതാവിലൂടെ മാത്രമേ മക്കള്‍ക്കാകു. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അമ്മയില്‍ നിന്നു ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഭാഷ പൈതൃകത്തിന്റെ വേരുകളുമായി നമ്മെ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ആത്മബോധത്തിന്റെ സ്രോതസ്സുതന്നെയാണെന്ന സത്യം തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഭാഷയെ ആരും സംരക്ഷിക്കണമെന്നോ, സ്നേഹിക്കണമെന്നോ ഭാഷ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. ലോകത്തിനു മുന്നില്‍ ആത്മാഭിമാനത്തോടെ നില്‍ക്കാന്‍
സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു മാതൃഭാഷ,ഒരു പൈതൃകം,ഒരു നാട്... ഇതൊന്നുമില്ലെങ്കില്‍ .... നിങ്ങള്‍ വെറും ഒരു അടിമ മാത്രമാണ്. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍, അന്യഭാഷയുടെ

Malayalam university is very essential for strengthening our language.
ReplyDeletemalayalees need to unite for a malayalam university. tamil has got classical language status just because of the enthusiastic tamilians. they are so concerned about the future of their language and literature. we too need to harness our language by organising more platforms and discussions for language. the proposed malayalam university can do a great job for the accomplishment of this objective. language is not just a script or dialect, it's our culture. destruction of language is indeed the destruction of our culture.

ReplyDeleteKeralites are not at all interested in a Malayalam University. But there are a lot of non resident malayalies who are interested in a Malayalam University. If we could start it in USA it will flourish. thinkof that chance, because we are not malayalies, we are Loka Malayalies.
